Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 27, 2026. Atlantic Climate Control is committed to providing a website and customer service that are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, and to treating every customer with dignity and respect.
Our commitment
We aim to provide goods, services and information in a way that respects the independence and dignity of people with disabilities, and to meet the accessibility requirements that apply to us under Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Nova Scotia's Accessibility Act and other applicable Canadian law.
Website accessibility
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We do not claim that every page currently meets this standard. Our ongoing efforts include:
- Clear headings, page structure and descriptive link text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, menus and forms.
- Readable colour contrast and text that can be resized.
- Layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Reviewing new content and features for accessibility as we add them.
Known limitations
Some content, such as third-party documents, manufacturer product sheets, embedded tools or linked program websites, may not be fully accessible and is outside our control. If you can't access any information on this site, contact us and we will provide it in another format.
Accessible customer service
- People may use their own assistive devices when dealing with us.
- Service animals and support persons are welcome during assessments, consultations and at our office.
- We communicate in a way that takes a person's disability into account, by phone, email or in person.
- We will give notice of temporary disruptions to services or facilities where reasonably possible.
Accommodation requests
If you need an accommodation, such as information in an alternate format, a different way to communicate with us, or adjustments to how we schedule or carry out an in-home assessment, let us know. We will work with you to provide it in a timely way, at no extra cost.
Report an accessibility issue or give feedback
If you have trouble using any part of our website or services, please tell us what page or service you were using and the problem you encountered. We welcome feedback by email, phone or in person, and will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
