Website use

You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes to learn about our services and contact us. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.

Website information is general guidance

Content on this website, including product descriptions, specifications, savings examples and program summaries, is provided for general information only. It may change without notice and may contain errors or omissions. Website information does not replace a written quote or a signed customer agreement. If there is any difference between this website and your signed agreement, your signed agreement governs.

Estimates and quotes

Online inquiries, assessment requests and quote requests do not create a contract. Any estimate or quote we provide is based on the information available at the time and may change after an on-site assessment, for example because of electrical capacity, ductwork, site conditions, permits or equipment availability. A quote becomes binding only when it is accepted in a signed written agreement. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.

Pricing

This website does not offer online purchases or checkout. Prices, where provided, are quoted directly to you and may change because of manufacturer pricing, supply, scope changes or applicable taxes. Final pricing, payment terms and deposits are set out in your signed agreement.

Installations, repairs and maintenance

The scope, schedule, responsibilities and terms of any installation, repair or maintenance work are set out in your written agreement. Scheduling depends on equipment availability, permits, utility requirements, inspections and weather. You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to your property for the agreed work.

Warranties

Equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, subject to the manufacturer's own terms, registration requirements and exclusions. Any workmanship coverage offered by Atlantic Climate Control will be stated in writing in your agreement. Nothing on this website creates a separate warranty.

Financing

Financing information on this website is general and is not an offer of credit. All financing is provided by third-party lenders or programs, and is subject to their eligibility criteria, credit review, terms and approval. Rates, terms and availability are set by the lender and may change.

Rebates and incentives

Rebate, incentive and loan programs are run by governments, utilities and other third parties. They are subject to eligibility, program rules, available funding, pre-approval or audit requirements, and approval by the program administrator, and they can change or close without notice. We may help you understand or apply for programs, but we cannot guarantee eligibility, approval, amounts or timing. Programs differ between Ontario and Nova Scotia. Atlantic Climate Control is not affiliated with the Government of Canada or any program administrator.

Energy savings and net zero

Energy savings, bill reductions, backup duration and net zero outcomes depend on your home, usage, equipment, weather and utility rates, and are not guaranteed. Net zero is a goal and a pathway, not a product.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Atlantic Climate Control is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from third-party websites linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws, including Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and Nova Scotia's Consumer Protection Act.

Third-party links

This website links to manufacturers, lenders and program administrators. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

Intellectual property

Website text, design and our name and logo belong to Atlantic Climate Control or are used with permission. Manufacturer names, product photos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may not copy or reuse website content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province where the services are provided (Ontario or Nova Scotia) and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
